NSAA honors

Mayville State’s Michael Theisen, a senior outfielder from Danville, Calif., is the NSAA player of the week. Theisen tallied at least a hit in each game as Mayville State went 2-2 record in the North Star Athletic Association four-game series at Waldorf. He was 6-for-15 at the plate (.400 batting average) and scored five runs. Theisen also recorded a slugging percentage of .867 in the series, hitting two home runs, a double and three singles. He also drove in a total of eight runs (including five RBIs in the third game of the series) and stole one base.
