The 2021 NFL Draft is upon us! The league’s annual player selection meeting gets underway at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 29 and runs until approximately 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 1. 259 players will be selected during the three days and then we enter the free-for-all that is undrafted free agency.
There will be three options for watching the draft this week. ABC and ESPN will air different broadcasts Thursday and Friday, and then a single broadcast for Saturday airing on ESPN and simulcasting on ABC. Additionally, NFL Network will be offering its own three day show. It will feature fewer total eyeballs, but NFL Network talent might be what draws you over to them if you subscribe to NFL Network.
Rich Eisen will be hosting all three days and will open with a sizable team of analysts and reports on Thursday. The number will decrease each day, with Eisen, Daniel Jeremiah, Charles Davis, and Ian Rapoport broadcasting all three days. Additionally, the first round will feature 10 reporters embedded at different NFL cities offering local reports.
If you won’t be in front of a TV during the draft, NFL Network coverage will be available across multiple devices (smartphone, PC, tablet and connected TVs) through the NFL app or NFL.com/watch and the NFL Network App on smartphones and tablets for subscribers of participating NFL Network providers.
