CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Wyoming Housing Network has a financial foundations class that can help community members save to buy a house or to accomplish any of their other financial goals.
Marilyn Lojo, a Wyoming Housing Network housing counselor, said this class is for everyone. This class covers goal setting, credit, how to save money and how to get out of debt. It’s rewarding for Lojo to see people’s success from people who apply the knowledge from the class.
“One of the students invited me to sit in when she closed on her house. It was the best day,” Lojo said. These classes have been held in Casper and Sheridan. They want to expand them statewide. “It’s been rewarding that people find them so helpful,” Lojo said.
There is no class scheduled for October, but they will create one in November if there’s enough interest.
