Green Tree Tournament Club
The Green Tree Tournament Club held an End of Year Tournament at Cypress Lakes on Sept. 12, with a format of a two-person scramble.
First place was won by Fernando Orozco, playing a one-person scramble, with a net score of 60.
There was a three-way tie for second: Matt Brownell and Greg Gomez, Robert Birch and Clint Birch, Martin Rios and Barry Neves all had net scores of 63.
There was a four-way tie for fith place: Tom Newkirk and Pat Bello, Jesse Rios and Paul Holland, Dave Coolidge and Art Lindberg, Parker Ruhstaller and Ronesh Rao all had net scores of 64.
Closest to the pin: Hole 3: Parker Ruhstaller and Ronesh Rao were 6’ 1”
Hole 8 and 14: Albert Lozano and Ramon Cervantes were 2’ 1” and 5’ 10”
Hole 11: Tom Newkirk and Pat Bello with 5’ 8”
Longest Drive from the White Tee was won by Ronesh Rao. Longest Drive from the Gold Tees was won by Dale Jonasson.
