MPD: Man found shot overnight at local Waffle House - FOX13 Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in the hospital after police found a man shot in the early morning hours outside of an East Memphis Waffle House.

Memphis police responded to a shooting call at 1550 Sycamore View Rd. around 3:36 a.m.

The man was rushed Regional One, according to police, but is expected to be ok.

Police said the man was shot in the leg.

A car hit a fire hydrant outside the restaurant as well and police are working to figure out if the two incidents are connected.

Police searched the Waffle House parking lot but reported that no shell casings were found there.
