Man found shot dead inside car in South Memphis was local rapper, friends say - FOX13 Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police found a dead man inside a car Monday morning.

Police responded to a shooting at S. Third and Brooks Road.

Memphis activist Frank Gottie told FOX13 the victim was Memphis rapper OG King Davis.

Gottie told FOX13 the two were close friends who grew up together in Memphis.

The man was found inside the car and pronounced dead at the scene, according to MPD.

No suspect information has been released.

Officers are on the scene of a shooting at S. Third and Brooks. One male shooting victim was located inside of a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
