MLB Network’s complete Spring Training game schedule will be announced in the near future.
Leading up to 30 Clubs in 30 Days, an interactive, instructional #SandlotToTheShow live stream featuring The Art of Pitching will air tomorrow, February 24 at 7:00 p.m. ET across MLB Network’s Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch accounts as well as MLB.com. Hosted by Scott Braun, MLB Network analysts and World Series champion pitchers Ryan Dempster and Al Leiter, along with Hall of Fame pitchers Pedro MartÃnez and John Smoltz will provide youth players individualized feedback and instruction on videos featuring them pitching. Using the hashtag #SandlotToTheShow and tagging @MLBNetwork, parents and kids can currently submit their videos to Instagram and Twitter for a chance to be shown on tomorrow’s stream. In addition to offering tips for improvement, the former pitchers will engage in a real-time Q&A with fans, kids, parents and coaches who submit their baseball instruction questions within the live stream. MLB Network’s first-ever live stream of #SandlotToTheShow this past December featuring 15 different MLB Network analysts generated more than 260,000 live viewers across its platforms.
MLB Network most recently completed its Top 100 Players Right Now! series with Mike Trout ranked as the best player in Major League Baseball, followed by Mookie Betts, Jacob deGrom, Freddie Freeman and Juan Soto.
