Montclair residents gathered on South Park Street Tuesday night for another National Night Out — the annual opportunity for children and families to meet police, firefighters, EMTs and other first responders, while getting an up-close look at the equipment they use.
The event is designed to build relationships between first responders and the communities they serve. Local shops and vendors were also invited to come out for the event.
National Night Out is traditionally held the first Tuesday of August. No event was held in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
