One of the top golfers in the nation, Shepherd has featured a solid season in 2021 as she collected her first collegiate victory at the Gamecock Intercollegiate and is currently ranked 11th nationally with a 72.13 stroke average. Shepherd earned All-ACC accolades recently, while collecting three top-10 and four top-20 finishes in five tournaments on the year. She helped lead Duke to the ACC Championship along with the Gamecock Intercollegiate and Cavalier Match Play titles this spring.
Shepherd, who hails from Greenwood, Ind., and her Blue Devil teammates will take the course Monday afternoon at 2:38 p.m. (ET) in the final round of stroke play at the NCAA Championship, which is being played at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Golf Channel will air coverage from 5-9 p.m. (ET).
Duke currently sits second overall and will need to finish in the top-8 to advance to match play, which opens Tuesday, May 25.
