The Pride (20-18) will be hosting a game for the first time since April 17 when it welcomes the Gaels (3-36). Hofstra is coming off a series win at William & Mary, scoring 33 runs over the three games including a season-high 18 in the Friday night victory. Iona was on the wrong end of a sweep by Marist this past weekend and have lost six consecutive games. Stony Brook is 19-22 on the season and is coming off a series win at NJIT.
Hofstra is 14-20 all-time against Iona. The teams last met in 2019 at Fordham with the Gaels pulling out a 4-2 victory. The series with Stony Brook is tied 16-16. The Pride won the last meeting, 12-10, on April 21, 2010.

Following the Stony Brook game, Hofstra will return home to host Northeastern in a three=game Colonial Athletic Association series beginning Friday at 3 p.m.
