Women’s Business Network is an award-winning business association that supports the success and growth of women in business. WBN provides members with the tools to be successful, including networking, mastermind groups, and ongoing professional education, while expanding her circle of influence in the marketplace. The Monroeville Chapter holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 8-9:30 a.m., at Panera Bread, 400 Penn Center Blvd., Wilkins Township. This month’s meetings are Nov. 10 and 24. For more information, contact Chapter Representative Jo Luncher at 412-372-3411.
The Allegheny Valley Chapter holds regular meetings on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m. at Panera Bread – Waterworks Mall, 942 Freeport Road, Pittsburgh. This month’s meetings are Nov. 2 and 16. For more information contact Chapter Representative Susan Kinger at 412-782-4848.
The All Virtual Chapter holds regular meetings via Zoom on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. This month’s are Nov. 3 and 17. Guests are welcome to attend at no cost. For more information contact our Chapter Representative, Jennifer Pasquale, at 412-908-1663.
Surviving the holidays
Monroeville United Methodist Church is offering a seminar presented by GriefShare, to help those who are grieving navigate the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. The seminar, “Surviving the Holidays,” provides practical coping strategies for dealing with conflicting emotions faced during the holidays at a time of grief, for dealing with traditions and changes, for surviving social events and for discovering hope for the future.
If you are at a place where you are dreading the weeks surrounding around Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah because everything in your life seems to have changed, come to this seminar on 9:30-11:30 a.m. Nov. 13 at Monroeville United Methodist Church, 219 Center Road.
There is no cost for this seminar, which is open to anyone. You are asked to wear a mask inside the building.
