Southwest Airlines is experiencing flight delays and disruptions at Denver International Airport and around the country, the airline said.

A “network connectivity issue” has made flight delays “likely” at the airport, according to DIA officials.

Southwest had 88 flights canceled and 171 flights delayed Tuesday at DIA, and as of about 2 p.m., 233 flights had been delayed for all airlines at DIA, according to Flight Aware. Total cancelations were 90, as United Airlines had two cancellations at DIA.

“Southwest is in the process of resuming normal operations after a brief pause in our flight activity resulting from intermittent performance issues with our network connectivity Tuesday afternoon,” Southwest said in an email. “Our Teams are working quickly to minimize flight disruptions and Customer impact. We appreciate our Customers’ patience as we work to get them to their destinations. We ask that travelers use Southwest.com to check flight status or consult a Southwest Airlines Customer Service Agent at the airport for assistance with travel needs.”

Computer issues hit Southwest Airlines on Monday night as well, according to DIA officials, which also caused delays for departing and arriving flights.
