NSIC PARTNERS WITH BLUEFRAME TECHNOLOGY TO LAUNCH “NSIC NETWORK” - UMD Bulldogs

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Commissioner Erin Lind announced Wednesday that the league has entered into an official partnership with BlueFrame Technology. BlueFrame will partner with the NSIC and its 16 member institutions to launch the "NSIC Network", an end-to-end digital network available online and across custom NSIC streaming applications for TV and mobile devices. BlueFrame will power the NSIC streaming network for the next 3 years. 
 
"The NSIC is excited to partner with BlueFrame Technology for the creation of the NSIC Network," said Lind. "Over the past year the NSIC has done extensive research in the area of webcasting. In a highly competitive industry, BlueFrame's cutting edge technologies, national reputation and customer service made them a perfect fit for our league.  BlueFrame has quickly risen to be a proven leader in webcasting and we are excited to bring an enhanced viewer experience for NSIC student-athletes, coaches and fans."

In addition to advanced distribution technology and streaming apps, the NSIC and its member schools will utilize BlueFrame's Production Truck software to produce and stream broadcasts. Production Truck will allow schools and the conference to capture replay, insert graphics, and produce their broadcasts professionally and easily.

The new NSIC Network will be available prior to the start of the 2020 season and will provide fans the ability to watch all games from around the league via a custom network website, mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire Tablet devices, and apps for popular streaming TV devices like Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.
