Saratoga Candy Company has been on the map for decades because of its famous Peppermint Pig tradition that has spilled over into the rest of New York. In addition to the confections the store has available on a daily basis, Saratoga Candy Company is doing specialty packages for Valentine’s Day. The 1- and 2-pound Valentine Chocolate Box is filled with assorted candies and chocolates. The “Be Mine” basket is decorated nicely and includes pink and red candy corn, lollipops, cinnamon hearts, chocolate malt balls and a half-pound chocolate box. The “XOXO Forever” basket contains two bags of chocolate hearts, gummy hearts, truffles, cookies and other treats.

Known for itsice cream, Emack & Bolio's also has a really great candy selection consisting of homemade chocolate and holiday specials available to order. For the loved ones who enjoy a salty and sweet treat, Emack & Bolio’s has huge chocolate-covered pretzels as well as sprinkle-coated candies, decorated truffles and chocolate-covered graham crackers covered with a chocolate drizzle.

Uncle Sam's All-American Chocolate Factory has plenty of options for the holiday. Customers can order the edible roses by the dozen as if they’re actual flowers, and display them for a while before eating.

When Candy Kraft first opened in the 1930s, the team began making high-quality chocolate with fresh cream (at the time delivered by horse and buggy ) and that quality stands today. Candy Kraft has boxes of its almond butter crunch, creamy chocolates, caramels, creams, jellies, nut clusters and espresso bark. In addition to chocolates, sugar-free candy options like the cayenne pepper hard candies are also available. The sugar-cut jellies are brightly colored and flavorful. There are licorice pastels, peanut butter-filled ribbon candy, jelly fruit slices and “mothballs” - little coconut snowballs filled with cream.
